No more Jewish mothers

Click for a bigger version. I’m at the very right. Check out the house that took us a month of weekends, plus some late nights to construct…and about an hour to tear down. Sad, no? But as we tore apart the painted styrofoam walls, a bunch of us saved bits of them.

After a busy week of dress rehearsals and shows, our last performance of Fiddler on the Roof was yesterday afternoon. All three shows went very well! Somewhat sad that it’s all over, but it will be nice to have the time for other things again.

Funniest thing happened Friday in the Dining Hall! I had just finished eating lunch with Jen and Kay (who was also in the show), when we see another fellow Jewish mother coming toward us. So, reflex reaction, what do we do when three minor Fiddler characters meet? We start ad libbing! No words, just gestures. In the middle of the DH! Jen thought we had lost our minds.

Jumping on the bandwagon at the last minute! Carmen and Crunch are always good company - and besides, they need a voice of reason, right?    ;)
