Okay, folks. I’ve got an elven cleric of Mystra who needs a name. Suggestions? Still pondering her background…I’ll let you know when I’ve got something.
Life update: I live. I study. Lots going on, but somehow there’s always time to goof off. How does that work? All right, Beowulf, here I come.

Might I suggest some variation on elen, gil, tindome, tingilinde, silma or itildin? They’re all various words in Tolkein’s elvish for “star” (-light or -twinkle in two cases).
You should name her something completely off the wall for an Elvish chick. 😀
Bobina!
Bambi!!!
All I could come up with is “Linar”, which would mean something like “singer at dawn” in Quenya.
If you still haven’t come up with anything, try here: http://www.uib.no/People/hnohf/index/indexs01.htm
Index of Quenya words. ^^
Final decision is Ildarin Telemna, though Bambi was awfully tempting, Crunch. Or…not…. 😉 I used the Elvish Name Generator, which Poke pointed me to, and altered a couple of things it gave me. 😉
She is the daughter of a wizard (her father) and a librarian (her mother) and grew up in a household of Mystra-ites (uhh, er somethin’), so the natural domains for her to choose were Knowledge and Magic. I think that sometimes her mother sends her off to pick up texts and things to make a bibliphile’s heard go pitty-pat. Sort of “interlibrary loan by foot”. Possibly she meets Poke while picking something up from a hobbit library!
