Some HP love on Doctor Who: here are a couple of short clips, posted on The Leaky Cauldron. It’s from a third season episode that must have just aired in the UK. Maybe it’s airing on BBC America, too — dunno because BBC America is too high into the cable atmosphere for me to have it. I assume SciFi will start season three this fall, and I’m looking forward to meeting the new companion.
(And if that weren’t enough fandoms for one post: I turned on the TV this afternoon and hey look! There’s Inara — or rather, Morena Baccarin — on Stargate SG1, wearing a very Inara sort of costume, just with funny-colored contacts. No idea how old this episode is, only that it’s post-Richard Dean Anderson. But yay for Firefly cast.)
Later: Evil Dead: The Musical. What the hell??

A musical?!!!! I so want that!
That was this season of SG-1 you saw. Inara’s playing an evil messiah who was born only months ago, but aged by her bosses to an age where people would listen to her. I keep waiting for Vala (her mother, whom you may recognize from kicking ass and taking names on Farscape) to take her over her knee and spank her. SG-1 went to pot ages ago, alas. (Why can’t I stop myself from watching it though?)
Heh! Yeah, I haven’t found either SG-1 or Atlantis much fun without someone to watch them with.
Speaking of Firefly cast, did anyone else see the premiere of Drive? I swear Nathan Fillion is playing Mal again (not a bad thing, though I don’t want to see him typecast as angsty rebel forever–the man’s got funny!).
It’s old news, I forgot to mention it, but Wash is playing a minor and quirky character in ‘Knocked Up’.
I think I had heard that. Has anyone seen the movie? The synopsis didn’t appeal to me, but I’ve heard that it’s quite funny.
